Description of the work

• Teaching English, French or German. These lessons can be imparted at night, in a class located at the city building. The people would receive these lessons for free and it helps them to be able to participate in Tourism areas.
• Activities at the City Hall TV Channel, giving English news at the Municipality. They have a television channel, a newspaper and a radio station in which the Mayor would like to include news in English for the tourists.
• Activities at the airport and Activities at the Tourism Office, where volunteers can inform about the island in other languages to tourist. This can be done at the airport, the pier, the seaside, etc..

Keep in mind
Volunteering at the Galapagos Islands requires some special procedures. You need to book your program with at least 4 months of anticipation and you will also need to ask for a volunteer visa at your nearest Ecuadorian consulate (we’ll help you with all the information you need) In addition, living and working at the Islands also involve more strict behavior rules, which you must be prepared to follow., You need to have a very good level of Spanish.
